David Warlick just posted this over on his blog.. 2 Cents Worth
I was just shocked when I quickly scanned the listing of conferences registered on Hitchhikr. The list is sorted by popularity. The conferences viewed the most are at the top and the ones seen the least are at the bottom. The top listings are fairly static, because conference page viewings usually peek right after the event and then stablize. What surprised me was that the K12 Online Conference is now at the top. It is just barely behind Alan November’s Building Learning Communities and still a distant third to the National Educational Computing Conference.
Amazing! I can't wait until next year! Let's keep the conversation going. Be sure and join the K12 Online room in Tapped In . This way we can stay connected. Just think how wonderful next year's conference will be with more people involved and the incredible ideas participants shared for improvement implemented.
I think we are on to something here in Personal Professional Learning for teachers-- inservices by teachers for teacher... oh yeah...the time has finally come for teacher voice to be heard.
I was impressed with your ability to moderate such a large group on elluminate! This was (and still is) one of the best conferences I've participated in! Great work!
Glenn :)
