It doesn't relate to the theme of my blog- but it is kind of cool! Queen Elizabeth II is visiting our campus at The College of William and Mary.
The following itinerary was released today by
Buckingham Palace regarding the state visit next week of Her Majesty,
Queen Elizabeth II. In addition to marking the 400th anniversary of the
founding of Jamestown, the Queen will visit the campus at the College
of William and Mary on May 4, 2007. The visit comes 50 years after Her
Majesty's first visit to the College in 1957. ...see full itinerary
Wow, that is so cool.
I know its not part of your blog but I was interested here, being an expat in new Zealand and missing seeing such folk. was wondering if you could organise some pics for flickr, would love to see them.
Makes me smile.
ps. you know its her birthday today, or was it yesterday. Time zones and global communication do my head sometimes. 81 she is anyway.
